Yes, the UGC is going to upload the UGC NET Admit Card 2022 for the phase 2 exam on September 16, 2022. Be mindful that it will be a combined exam for both December 2021 and June 2022 sessions.

Download UGC NET Hall Ticket 2022 for Phase 2

Once released, applicants will be able to download the UGC NET 2022 hall tickets from the official website at nta.ac.in or ugcnet.nta.nic.in. So keep your login credentials like the Application Number ready in order to download the hall ticket/admit card for the phase 2 UGC NET 2022 Exam.

This is phase 2 of the UGC NET exams this year and will be conducted from September 20 to 30, 2022. Earlier it was scheduled to take place from August 12-14, 2022, but somehow got postponed. To inform the curious ones, phase 1 of the exam was held on July 9, 11, and 12, for 33 subjects in 310 examination centres across 225 cities.

  • UGC NET is usually held twice a year but due to a delay in the schedule this time, the December 2021 and June 2022 attempts have been merged.
  • Last year too, the two sessions were merged.
  • UGC NET exam is given to ascertain eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Universities and Colleges of the country.
  • National Testing Agency conducts the Exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC.)
  • Unless you are UGC NET qualified, you can’t get teaching jobs in Indian colleges as a professor.

How to download the UGC NET Admit Card 2022 for Phase 2

  • Click on the link: ugcnet.nta.nic.in OR Paste it into a browser and hit ‘Search’
  • On the Home Page, click on ‘UGC NET Admit Card 2022’
  • Log in by submitting the credentials such as application number and other details
  • Your admit card will now show up on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout of the admit card.
  • You’ll need the hard copy of the UGC NET 2022 Admit Card/Hall Ticket for the phase 2 exam to enter the exam hall.

Points to Note:

  • UGC NET Phase 2 exam 2022 will be held across 541 Indian cities this time, almost double of 239 locations that were allotted last time.
  • Exam for remaining candidates, those not covered under these 64 subjects, will be held later. National Testing Agency, NTA, will assign a different date and time for them in due course.
